What is MailStore?
MailStore is an email archiving solution.
Why do I need an email archiving solution?
Good question! One of the most common issues people run into is that over years and years of sending and receiving emails they they accrete more messages than their mailboxes can hold. When that happens to you, you're stuck with a pretty annoying conundrum- which of my emails do I delete to make space for new ones? And when do I make time to even do that?
An email archiving solution takes care of this by periodically taking old emails old of your mailbox and putting them into the archive. MailStore does this once per day. After emails are put in to the archive, you can view them there and restore them to your regular mailbox if you ever need to forward/refer to them.
How old do emails have to get before they're archived?
Also a good question! We generally suggest archiving messages once they are over one year old. However, your business may have an archive policy that's more aggressive (6 or 9 months) or less aggressive (2 years) tailored to your needs and the volume of email you send and receive. Individual users may also have "spot archive jobs" run on their accounts if they fill up before the retention period passes and emails are archived.
How do I access MailStore?
MailStore can be accessed in three different ways:
- Through the browser

What MailStore isn't
