MailStore in the Browser
Accessing MailStore in the browser is a great way to quickly access, review, and even restore individual emails from your archive or an archive you have access to.

Navigating to your MailStore server
Your MailStore instance is located at the following address:
https://mailstore.your-company-domain.tld
So if you worked for a company called "Equalibrity" and the company website was equalibrity.com, you would browse to:
https://mailstore.equalibrity.com
Logging in to MailStore
On the MailStore homepage, you'll see a screen like this:
Your username is your business email address. Enter it and hit Next.
From there, you'll be prompted to complete your sign-in with Microsoft. If asked what type of account you have, choose Work or school.
Using MailStore in the Browser
Searching for Mail
When you sign in, you'll see an empty screen with items similar to these on the left-hand side:
- Search - If you're looking for something specific, click here. The interface will then show the advanced search options, and you can specifyifiy the criteria to find the message you're looking for. For more information on how to use the MailStore web search, please see Accessing the Archive with MailStore Web Access - MailStore Server Help.
- My Archive - Clicking the chevron to the right of My Archive will expand it to show the root of your archive, named "Exchange [your name]". Click the chevron there and you can then drill down into specific folders to manually look for messages.
- Other Archives - If you have access to other mailboxes archives, you'll find them here. You can drill down into specific folders by clicking the chevron just like with your archive.
Restoring a message to Outlook
When you click on a message in MailStore, it shows up on the right hand side similarly to Outlook. Additionally, the following options are available from the area above the email list:
To get an email back in Outlook, you can use one of these two options:
- Open as EML/MSG - This will download a copy of the message as a file to your computer. Opening that file will then allow you to forward it as necessary.
- Restore - Clicking this will prompt you to enter an email address and click OK. Doing so will send a copy of the email as an attachment to the recipient you specified.
⚠️ Emails sent via the Restore function will only ever come from "mailstore@notifications.osmosis.net".
