Claude's Microsoft 365 Connector can allow it to access company information from the following Microsoft services:
You can use natural-language queries and optionally request that Claude "use the Microsoft 365 Connector" to fulfill your request.
The tools from the Microsoft 365 Connector can be used anywhere you can chat with Claude- for example, you could ask Claude in Excel to fill in a spreadsheet with the subjects of your top five longest running email chains from Outlook.
⚠️ Any request made to Claude with the Microsoft 365 Connector is fulfilled in the context of the user making the request. That means Claude will only have access to information that you have access to- if you cannot access a file, you will not be able to request that Claude access it on your behalf.
Capabilities
The following is a list of tool that Claude has access to when using the Microsoft 365 Connector. Please note that some tools may be disabled for your company. If you are unsure of whether or not a tool is enabled, please reach out to Osmosis Customer Care.
Additionally, most tools that make changes to files, email, or other content will require your explicit permissions each time Claude tries to use them.
