Update your device

In order to access your email account on your Android device, your device must be running the latest version of the Android operating system available for it. If you are unable to add your email account to your device and it is not up to date, we will first ask that you update your device.


Required information for setup

In order to set up email on your Android device, you must have the following information:


  • Your email address
  • Your username
  • Domain
  • Mailserver address
  • Your account password


If you are missing any of the above information, please contact care@osmosis.net and we will provide you with it.


Important: disconnect your phone from wifi

Before completing the following steps, disconnect your phone from wifi. After you have set up email on your phone you may re-enable wifi.


Setting up mail in the Outlook for Android app

Install the Outlook for Android app from the Google Play Store and then open it.


Tap Get Started if this is your first time using the app.


Otherwise, to add another email account, tap Menu ☰ > Settings ⚙️ > Add Account > Add Email Account. Then skip to step 3.

Outlook may detect your Google accounts. Tap Skip.

Enter your email address, then tap Continue.

If you are prompted, tap Exchange. Otherwise, skip to the next step.

Fill in all the fields on this screen. For the Domain\Username, enter your domain and username separated by a backslash (\).



Tap the .

If you are asked if you'd like to set up another account, tap Maybe Later.
